About us
We're Scott and Assata Pellegrino, and we run a small homestead in Cambria, Illinois. We share it with nearly 40 chickens, two roosters, and two cats.
Those two cats are the stars of Scott's picture-book series, Butter and Dr. Bob. Dr. Bob is a 1-year-old ragdoll who loves to learn, and Butter is a deaf white Maine Coon with bright sky-blue eyes.
Assata owns a bakery called Pellegrino's Kitchen and is putting her family recipes into a cookbook series of the same name.
